North Pole Tales Day #35

Only 12 days more!!

Hi Everyone

What a great time we had last night. We had our tree decorating party. Here is our tree outside of Santa's house.

Santa says you can see this tree for miles because it is so huge; 40 feet tall. Can you see the people standing by the bottom of the tree how little they look. To decorate it Santa had to get the reindeer and sleigh out to reach the top. Rudolph put the star on top of the tree for us because it was so dark we needed his nose to light the way. It was so dark before we turned the lights on and then suddenly it was like magic with pretty lights everywhere. Oh we had so much fun. It took us hours and hours but it was worth it don't you think? Look how pretty it is. Wish you could come see it.

Mrs. Claus served everyone hot chocolate outside so we could try to stay warm. As we decorated Doreen Santa's sister then started to sing Christmas songs and we all sang along. I think we sang every Christmas song ever written. My favorite song is Frosty the Snowman.

Then we all went inside Santa's house and decorated the tree inside. Here is a picture....

The lady next to the tree is Terry. She is Mrs. Claus's sister. I like her because she is a good cook. I helped her and Mrs. Claus cook all afternoon; we made all kinds of goodies to eat tonight. My favorite is the peanut butter fudge. Yummy. Mrs. Claus says I make that better than anyone she knows.

While we decorated the tree we ate, and sang songs. My friend Crystal played the piano and we all sang and even danced. Well us girls danced; because the boys would not do so. I think they are just chickens. : ) We had so much fun; I can't wait until Christmas; only 12 more days. Yay!!!

Goodness everyone just left and I am so tired. It is almost midnight and two hours after my bedtime. I have to go to bed now but will write you in the morning.

Goodbye everyone.

P.S. Don't forget to get your letters to Santa

North Pole Tales Day# 34

Hello Boys and Girls,

It has been so busy here as Christmas eve is less than two weeks away. Santa has us working from early morning to supper time. You should see his house ~ there are so many rooms filled with toys for all you good boys and girls. Some are so cute and adorable, especially the dolls.

Oh, yah, last night Santa tried on his favorite Santa suit and guess what ~ he couldn't button it. We were all laughing so hard ~ he kept holding his breath and pulling in his stomach. He said that the laundry had shrunk it. Yah Yah!!Mrs. Claus put him on a diet immediately and says he could only eat what she gives him. Ha Ha!! He will be nibbling behind her back! Don't worry Mrs. Claus can move the buttons and it will fit perfectly. Don't tell Santa ~ that's our little secret.

Doreen, Santa's sister is a great skier. You should see her come down these slopes. However, on one trip she smashed into the reindeer fence. Luckily she didn't get hurt, but the fence has to be repaired. Santa will have the elves do it. All the reeindeer were in the barn, so none got hurt.

Well it is getting late and I am tired so I will say goodnight for now.

Please remember to be good boys and girls and listen to your parents. Send your letters to Santa if you want some presents.

Bye; see you tomorrow : )

North Pole Tales Day #33

Hi everyone

Sorry I didn't write you yesterday as I was so busy all day. Then our electricity went out last night because of an ice storm. Oh you should have seen it this morning as everything was glare ice. Here are some pictures of me outside

It was so slippery this morning that Santa cancelled all the reindeer's practices. I was supposed to go with Santa in the sleigh to exercise the reindeer as couple of them need to lose a few pounds before Christmas eve. Donner is the fattest because he sneaks cookies when nobody is looking. LOL

Oh I almost forgot to tell you that Doreen; Santa's sister and her son Peter came yesterday. I really like Doreen because she is so cool and likes to dance. She brought all of us presents too. Ohhh I can't wait until christmas can you? Here is a picture of Santa's sister and her son Peter

Tonight we had a really big supper to celebrate Doreen and Peter coming. We had ham, mashed pototoes and carrots (ick I don't like carrots but I ate them.) Then for dessert we had apple pie..sooo yummy I ate two pieces.

After supper Doreen and us girls went into town to do some Christmas shopping. We had so much fun. I bought Mrs. Claus some new pearls. Santa took us in the sleigh as it was still slippery outside. Rudolph and Blitzen pulled our sleigh. Rudolph is a practical joker, and when we were coming home he started flying so fast Santa's sister Doreen started to scream. It was so funny the more she screamed Santa would make Rudolph fly faster. I think this is the fastest I think we ever got home from town. Boy can Rudolph fly when he wants to.

When we got home Mrs. Claus gave us all hot chocolate and oatmeal cookies to warm us up. After eating I went to my room and wrapped up Mrs Claus's pearls so she would not find then before Christmas. Shh please don't tell Mrs. Clause but I have them all hidden away in the back of my closet behind my shoes.

Well it is getting late and I am tired so I will say goodnight for now.

Please remember to be good boys and girls and listen to your parents. Send your letters to Santa if you want some presents.

Bye; see you tomorrow : )

North Pole Tales # 32

Hi Everyone

We had an exciting day today. I woke up at 5:30 this morning to the smell of Mrs. Claus making apple cinnamon muffins. I ran downstairs before everyone else woke up so Mrs. Claus let me help her bake. I love to cook so much fun. Oh and the muffins were so yummy I ate three of them and two glasses of milk.

I started to work at 7 in Santa's office. Wow I have so much work to do. Santa receives thousands of letters a day and I have to make sure they all are scanned into the computer so Santa can answer them. I love reading your letters so please keep sending them.

Oh and besides your letters Santa also wants me to make an inventory of all the toys we have made so he knows we have enough toys for Christmas eve. Wow!! that is going to be a lot of work. We have tons of toys made for you.

I worked until 10 when Crystal came and told me Santa says we can go to our skiing lessons this morning. yay!! What fun we had. You should have seen me on the slopes whizzing down the hills. If you can keep a secret and not tell Crystal I am much better than she is. She still even falls down. I have not fallen in weeks.

By noon we were staving to death so we went home to eat. In the woods outside their barn we met Blitzen, Dancer, and Comet playing in the snow.

In the picture is Blizten in the front, he is such a ham and loves to have his picture taken. The other is Dancer. Comet is really shy and ran away when he saw my camera. LOL

When we got back to the house Mrs. Claus had grilled cheese sandwiches all ready for us. With hot chocolate to warm us up. Crystal and I were so cold we sat on the floor next to the fireplace in eating our sandwiches. Everyone had already eaten lunch and was at work making toys.l I have to go now because I have to help Mrs. Claus go shopping for our Christmas Decorations. I will write you later tonight when I get home.

Be good boys and girls. Remember to get your letters to Santa as soon as you can.

Bye Talk to you tonight : )

North Pole Tales Day # 31

Hi Everyone

Wow what a day we had today. I woke up and my alarm clock wasn't working because we had no electricity. I was so tired I fell back to sleep. I didn't get up until 9 this morning. I can't believe Santa let me sleep so late!!.

By the time I went downstairs to eat everyone had already left the kitchen so Mrs. Claus and I cooked French Toast. It was the best French toast I have ever tasted in my life. We had to cook it on the fireplace just like a 100 years ago when people had no electricity. That was so much fun and I felt like a pioneer.

After breakfast Crystal and I went outside to take pictures. It snowed last night and all the trees were so magical. Oh yeah before I forget here is a picture I took to show you. I just love the snow; don't you?

Crystal and I had a lot of fun playing in the snow. We made a snowman. See I posted a picture for you to see what the snowman looked like until mean Timmy, the Elf, pushed his head off. grrr Now we have a headless snowman.

After making our snowman we were freezing so went inside to ask Mrs. Clause for some hot chocolate. She was making chocolate chip cookies so we helped her finish cooking them. We then called everyone in for hot chocolate and cookies. That was fun as we still had to use the fireplace to cook. Afterwards we played charades. Santa played with us but if you can keep a secret and not tell him I told you...he's not very good at it and made my team lose. Everyone was laughing so hard when Santa tried to be a pirate. I wish today could go on forever. It was so cozy and warm. I fell asleep in a chair by the fireplace before dinner. I just woke up now.

Oh just in case you're wondering why I am not working today is because we had the day off due to bad weather and no electricity. I am lucky my computer has a battery so I can still send you this letter.

Well I have to say goodbye for now as I have to eat dinner...mashed potatoes and meat loaf...yummy. Oh and after dinner Santa is taking the reindeer out for a test run tonight and I get to go with him...yah I can't wait.

Please be good boys and girls and don't forget to send Santa your Christmas list. He will answer all your letters.

North Pole Tales Day# 30

Hi everyone!

Wow what a great day we had. We made a ton of momey from our bake sale. We made almost $2,000! Well, we actually only made $1,000 but Santa donated another $1,000. So we now have enough money to buy our new Christmas. We are going to decorate the entire town this year. I can't wait as it's going to be so pretty. : )

Oh and everyone loved the Gingerbread house that Crystal and I made. We raffled and someone bid $55.00.

After the bake sale, Charlene the lady who won our gingerbread house, invited Crystal and me over for dinner. Charlene picked Crystal and me up in a big SUV as the roads are really slippery tonight. We are having a big ice storm. Anyway we had a blast at Charlene's tonight. We had baked lasagna (yummy) and chocolate cake for dessert (even yummier). We didn't eat my gingerbread house as Charlene said it's too pretty to eat. LOL

After we ate. Charlene's husband Bob. played Christmas carols on the piano while the rest of us sang and drank hot chocolate next to the fireplace. Charlene has two little girls so I tried to teach them how to dance. Oh I had so much fun I hated to come home.

It's now way past my bedtime (10 o'clock) so I shall say goodnight to everyone. Please be good and listen to your mom and dad. Don't forget to send your letter's into Santa. If you're a really good boy and girl Santa will even send you a letter back. : )

North Pole Tales Day #29

Hello everyone!

What a great dinner we had. Mrs. Claus is a wonderful cook. After eating Santa made us go for a walk, so we wouldn't gain any weight. Santa fell asleep in his chair, though.

However, he allowed Crystal and I to go skiing instead. What fun we had, even though we were in the snow on the ground most of the time. Then came a surprise ~Santa came skiing down the hill! Santa on skiis!! And he was good. None of us knew Santa could ski! Even attempted trick skiing on some of the lower hills. Mrs. Claus let him stay for a short time, as she thought the exercise would be too much for him.

With the roaring fire in the fireplace, Santa played several games of Monoply and Scrabble with some of the elves. Mrs. Claus served us some delicious ice cream with warm chocolate sauce. Yum!! Yum!

Another surprise when Santa started playing the piano in the rec room! Mrs. Claus plays quite often, but no one knew that Santa could play. Then he danced with Mrs. Claus! Everyone cheered! Then we joined in singing Christmas Carols until it was bed time. Santa told us to get a good night's sleep as we would be very busy from now until Christmas.
